What a second of AI video costs, channel by channel

What a second costs on Novita AI

Novita AI (novita.ai) prices Kling video by the second and prices sound separately in the same unit: $0.084 a second without audio on the Standard tier and $0.126 with it, $0.112 and $0.168 on Pro. Other models on the page are priced by the clip. As of 2026-09-22.

What sound adds to a second of Kling video hereA comparison of the silent and audio figures on both published Kling tiers. Standard runs at eight and a half cents without sound and just under thirteen with it. Pro runs at eleven and a half against just under seventeen. The surcharge is half again in both cases, which makes it the clearest published answer to what a dialogue track costs.Without audioWith audioKling v3.0 Standard$0.084 a second$0.126 a secondKling v3.0 Pro$0.112 a second$0.168 a secondThe stepBaselineHalf again, on both tiersSound is priced in the same unit as picture, and separately

Inclusion rule. Tiers the vendor publishes a per-second rate for. A tier priced only as a monthly allowance is not converted and does not get a row. Order. As the vendor orders them on its own page.

2Sound is half again as much, in both tiers

The audio surcharge here is exactly fifty per cent on each tier, which makes it the clearest published answer in this register to a question most pages skip: what does the dialogue track cost? On the channels that fold audio into one figure the answer is unknowable, and on the channels that never mention it the buyer discovers the answer after generating.

For dialogue-led drama the surcharge is not optional, so the working rate on this channel is the higher figure in each pair. Quoting it at $0.084 would describe a silent production. The ledger row carries both because both are published, and the tier column names which is which.

3A page in two units, and only half of it can be recorded

Alongside the per-second rows the same list prices MiniMax Hailuo and Wan whole: $0.19 for a six-second clip at 768P on the fast tier, $0.25 for five seconds of Wan at 480P, rising with duration and resolution. Those rows name the duration, so dividing would give a figure — and it would be a figure for exactly one length, presented in a column where every other number applies to any length.

So they stay as they are printed. A clip price and a rate behave differently the moment a shot is shorter or longer than the packaged duration, and collapsing one into the other is the kind of tidying that makes a table comparable and wrong.

4The gap between the two Kling tiers is small; the gap in what they leave out is not

Standard to Pro is a third more per second, before audio. That is a narrow step by the standards of this register, where a tier change on a single channel can multiply the bill eightfold. It also means the tier decision on this channel is mostly about output rather than budget.

What the page does not settle is how long one generation may run, and nothing on it addresses a refused or failed job. Both are recorded as unstated. The per-clip rows imply durations of six and ten seconds for two other models, but an implication inside one row is not a published limit for the channel.
