What a second costs on Wan
Wan (alibabacloud.com) publishes a per-second figure for three resolutions of Wan 3.0: $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 for 480P, 720P and 1080P on the Singapore deployment. The documentation also states a maximum of 30 seconds for one generation. As of 2026-09-12.
| Tier | In credits | Per second | Longest clip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wan 3.0 480P | - | $0.05 | 30 s |
| Wan 3.0 720P | - | $0.10 | 30 s |
| Wan 3.0 1080P | - | $0.20 | 30 s |
Inclusion rule. Tiers the vendor publishes a per-second rate for. A tier priced only as a monthly allowance is not converted and does not get a row. Order. As the vendor orders them on its own page.

2A ladder that doubles at each step, and a stated clip ceiling
The three resolutions double cleanly, so the resolution decision is easy to hold in the head: a minute of delivered 1080P costs four times a minute of 480P before any retakes. What is less common is the second number. The documentation states the maximum duration of one generation beside the model, and almost no pricing page in this ledger does.
Thirty seconds is long by the standards of this field. A ninety-second episode is three generations rather than six or more, and every boundary avoided is a join that cannot break continuity.

3The figure is deployment-specific, and this row says which one
The documentation prints different figures for different regions, and the ones recorded here are the Singapore deployment because that is the international one. Recording a rate without recording which deployment it belongs to would make the row unusable for anyone outside that region.
This is the same reason the resolution is named beside every figure elsewhere in this ledger. A number without the condition it holds under is not a price.
4Where this channel appears inside other products
Several tools in this field run Wan underneath and resell it in credits. Those resold rates belong to the reseller and are recorded on the reseller's own row, because the buyer pays the reseller and the terms are the reseller's.
Nothing on the documentation page states whether a failed or refused generation is billed, so that stays unrecorded here rather than assumed from how the underlying platform behaves.
