What a second of AI video costs, channel by channel

Which channels publish a per-second price at all

Eleven of the sixteen rated tools state what a second costs on a page anyone can read. The remaining five publish a plan price, a credit rate with no credit price, or a figure that only appears after signing in, and none of those becomes a rate without an assumption. As of 2026-09-12.

Inclusion rule. The sixteen tools rated on this site, whether or not each publishes a rate. The ledger's sixteen channels are the eleven marked published here plus five that are not rated. A tool marked not published states something about price; what it states is in the middle column. Order. Alphabetical by channel name.

1The five without a rate, one page each

What each of the five publishes instead, and what a per-second figure would still need from them, is set out per tool: CapCut, invideo AI, Luma, Morph Studio and Pika.

None of them is silent about money. Each publishes something, and in every case the thing published stops one step short of a figure that can be multiplied by a runtime.

2A monthly plan does not contain a cost per second

To get one you need a quota and a definition of what the quota buys, and even then the answer is only right for a buyer who exhausts the quota exactly. Under-use it and the real cost per second is higher; the arithmetic works only at the boundary.

So those products are absent rather than estimated. That makes this ledger a register of what is published rather than a survey of the market, which is a narrower thing and a checkable one.

3Publishing a rate is itself a decision worth recording

A per-second figure is a commitment that a buyer can hold a vendor to and compare against others. Choosing to publish one is a choice about how the product is sold, and it tends to go with selling to people who are planning a volume of work rather than trying the product.

The register notes it as a fact about the page, not as a virtue. A channel can publish a clear rate and be poor value, and several of the clearest pages here are attached to the highest figures.

4What would get a channel added

Any public page stating what a second costs, or stating credits alongside the pack prices, or a reference rate, needed to convert them. Not a support answer, not a sales quote, and not a figure derived by dividing a plan by an assumed quota.

The bar is deliberately the same for everyone, which is why some widely-used products are missing. Their absence is a statement about their pricing pages and nothing else.
