How Luma Dream Machine rates on seven criteria
Luma Dream Machine rates 2.4 across the criteria that could be rated, the widest spread in the table: a five and two ones on the same row. Its strongest column is picture quality, and its weakest are script handling and assembly. Every number describes what the vendor publishes, read on 2026-09-12. As of 2026-09-12.

Inclusion rule. The same seven criteria are applied to every tool rated here. A criterion the vendor does not address is left unrated rather than scored low. Order. Fixed criterion order, identical on every tool page.

2A row that is almost entirely about one column
Picture quality reaches the top while both workflow columns sit at the floor and the rate is hard to read in public. For a single shot that combination is attractive; for anything serial, five of the seven columns are supplying the answer and they are not the strong one.
Averages flatten this shape, which is why the per-criterion pages exist.
3What would move this row
Publishing a readable per-second rate would lift the weakest non-floor column, and a statement about joining segments would lift a floor. Neither requires a product change — both are pages.
Ratings describe what Luma Dream Machine publishes on its own pages, read 2026-09-12. They are not measurements of output quality, and the vendor is not consulted before a rating appears. The rule behind each criterion is on how scoring works; all sixteen tools together are on the ratings table. Next: Pika, SceneMixer.
