Where unused credits go on Morph Studio
Morph Studio publishes monthly credit allowances and lists the question of unspent credits in the FAQ on the same page. The answer is not in the text of that page, so the seller has named the gap without closing it. As of 2026-09-22.
| Point | What the pricing page carries |
|---|---|
| What is priced | Monthly credit allowances |
| What the FAQ asks | Whether unspent credits carry into the following month |
| What the page answers | Absent from the text of the page |
| What a credit buys | Absent from the page |
Inclusion rule. Items on the pricing page bearing on credits that go unspent, including questions the page poses. A question with no answer is recorded as such. Order. What is published first, then what is asked, then what is missing.
1Where Morph Studio sits in this column
| Channel | Unused credits |
|---|---|
| Hedra | No answer, though the FAQ asks |
| HeyGen | Answered by billing cycle |
| invideo AI | A single sentence, and it is a refusal |
| Kling AI | A 180-day window, stated twice |
| Magnific | A year, with no monthly reset |
| Morph Studio | No answer on the page that asks |
| Pika | A feature bullet, not a rule |
| Runway | Three answers, one per plan |
| SceneMixer | Into one balance, with no lapse date |
| Synthesia | Not stated where the plans are priced |
Inclusion rule. Channels whose own priced pages say something about credits left unspent, including the ones that raise the question and leave it unanswered. A channel that never meters in credits has nothing to answer and is not listed. Order. Alphabetical by channel name.
2A vendor's own FAQ is an admission of what buyers ask
Nobody writes an FAQ entry for a question nobody asks. Listing this one is evidence that buyers arrive at the pricing page wanting to know whether the allowance survives the month, and the page agrees that they do.
That makes the missing answer a different kind of gap from an ordinary silence. An unaddressed subject might simply not have occurred to the seller. A subject raised and left hanging has occurred to it, which narrows the explanations considerably.
3Without the answer the allowance has no rate
An allowance becomes a rate only when two further things are known: how much output a credit buys, and how long a credit lasts. Neither is on this page. The plan price therefore prices a month of access rather than a quantity of finished video, and no arithmetic on this side of the page can change that.
This is why the entry sits outside the ledger. Recording a guessed rate would put a figure next to a channel that has published none, and every comparison downstream would inherit the guess without inheriting the doubt.
4Two sellers answer this column the same way, for different reasons
Hedra also lists the question and leaves it unanswered, and the two cases are not equivalent. Hedra publishes three plan prices against three allowances, so a buyer can at least divide one by the other. Morph Studio publishes the allowance without the money behind it, so there is nothing to divide.
The shape of the gap therefore matters as much as its presence. One seller is missing the lifetime of a credit whose price is knowable; the other is missing both halves and the question as well.
