When several sellers land on the same figure
Where three separate sellers publish the same figure for one model family, the number is probably an input cost passed through rather than a competitive price. The comparison then moves to whatever else each page publishes. As of 2026-09-12.
| Model family | How close the sellers land | What the spread suggests |
|---|---|---|
| Kling | Three channels at eight and a half cents a second | A wholesale rate passed through with thin margins |
| Seedance | Three channels within half a cent of each other | The same, and the tightest agreement here |
| Wan | Eight channels spanning twenty-five times | Different releases, different margins, different meters |
Inclusion rule. Model families priced by three or more channels in this register, grouped by how far apart the figures land. A family sold by one channel has no agreement to measure. Order. From the tightest agreement to the widest spread.
1Tight agreement is not competition
Half a cent of spread across three shops is three sellers passing through the same input at similar margins. Choosing between them on price is choosing between rounding errors, and the decision has moved to version, conditions and terms.
2A tight family is a useful control
It shows what the baseline looks like when sellers are not doing anything differently. Anywhere a spread opens up, the question becomes what changed: the release, the variant, the meter, or the margin.
3A wide spread almost always has a version in it
The widest family here spans twenty-five times and contains five named releases and several fast variants. That is not one product priced twenty-five ways; it is several products sharing a name, and fixing the version removes most of the spread.
4What to compare once the price agrees
Clip ceilings, concurrency figures, credit validity, whether audio is a separate step, and whether a failed generation is charged. Those differ sharply between channels quoting identical rates, and every one of them changes the cost per usable second.
5A floor is not a guarantee
Three sellers at one figure means today's input cost is passed through at similar margins. It says nothing about tomorrow: the same agreement can move together if the upstream price moves, and a budget written against a wholesale floor inherits that exposure.
What it does give is a sanity check. A fourth seller well below the floor is running a promotion or selling a different release, and a fourth well above it is charging for something other than the model.

7The production behind the price
Price aside, what goes into the seconds behind “Wholesale floor” is described in SceneMixer's guides:
Downloads and the asset library follow your Music switch; a shared link always plays the version with the episode’s music.

The Seedance 2.0 tiers render segments up to 15 seconds; use a Seedance 2.5 or Wan tier for 30-second takes.
