What a second of AI video costs, channel by channel

What five sellers charge for the Kling models

Five channels here publish a figure against a Kling model. Three of them sit at eight and a half cents a second, close enough to look like a wholesale price passed through, and the two outliers are interesting for opposite reasons. As of 2026-09-22.

Where three sellers agree and two do notThree channels print eight and a half cents a second for this family, once from the maker and twice from resellers, which suggests a wholesale rate passed through with little margin. One reseller undercuts it on a turbo variant; one prices in credits with no credit price.Cheapest at the topSeven centsOne reseller, on a turbo variant. 1What the seconds buy

Price aside, what goes into the seconds behind “Kling across sellers” is described in SceneMixer's guides:

Two or three seconds for a look or a gesture, four to six for a line and its reaction, longer for movement.

SceneMixer, How to Write One Shot — “How long should a shot be?” (read 2026-10-13)

The Seedance 2.0 tiers render segments up to 15 seconds; use a Seedance 2.5 or Wan tier for 30-second takes.

3Three channels at the same figure looks like a wholesale floor

Eight and a half cents a second appears three times on this page, once from the maker and twice from resellers. Agreement that exact is rare in this register and it suggests a wholesale rate that the shops are passing through at little or no visible margin.

If that reading is right, the useful comparison between those three rows is not price. It is what else each one publishes: concurrency, clip ceilings, credit lifetimes and the unit the page meters in all differ while the rate does not.

4The cheaper row and the audio row are the two that move a decision

Seven cents on a turbo variant undercuts the apparent floor by about eighteen per cent, and one reseller charges half again for audio rather than bundling it. For dialogue drama the audio step is the larger of those two numbers: it applies to every shot with a line in it.

Read that way the cheapest row on the page is not obviously the cheapest purchase. A silent seven cents plus a separate voice pipeline may cost more than twelve and a half cents with speech arriving in the generation.

5The maker's page carries terms the resellers do not

Twenty concurrency per package, a hundred and eighty days of validity, no rollover and no extension. None of that appears on a reseller's rate row, and all of it changes what the figure means for a production working to a schedule.

That is the general shape of this whole layer. A resale page tells a buyer the price; the maker's page tells them the terms, and a comparison built only from resale pages is missing the half that decides whether the rate is reachable.
